The Method Labouchere is midway between a progression and a supply of game and is pursuing an aim of winning units and break them into brackets (minimum of 2 to a maximum of 5 points).

You write a paper on the set of points (eg 10 pieces = set 1 2 3 4) and bring into play the extremes of the series (eg 5 pieces: 1 +4)
If the strike is won you clear the colon and play the extremes remained on the sheet, so until you have deleted all.
When all the numbers in the series have been canceled has reached the goal.
If the shot is missed is added to the value of the points just made one side of the series and will call into play the two extremes (eg lost 5 Pack – Series 1 2 3 4 5 – Bullets 6pcs: 5 +1).

This progression is known by different names and played with compositions of different points depending on the type of risk you want to adopt. In the example above the 10 pieces could also choose a number 3 4 3 or a more conservative 1 2 2 2 3.

In the example the goal was 10 units, divided into series 1 2 3 4 (1 +2 +3 +4 = 10)
They made a number of pieces corresponding to the sum of the extremes (1 +4). Both the first and the second shot was lost and therefore it is added at the right allasomma equal value of two extremes.
After the third shot, which was won, they have erased the two ends (1 and 6) and was continued until all numbers have not been erased.

When all the numbers are deleted you always get a payout equal to the intended objective.
